Derick Levy

PT

Derick has more than 30 years of experience in Outpatient Physical Therapy.  Upon graduating from St. Thomas’ Hospital School of Physiotherapy, he returned to his homeland, South Africa, to work for a year before deciding to immigrate to the U.S., and he came directly to Colorado.

During his first few years in Denver, he worked for a hospital and then at a leading orthopedic practice, where he gained valuable experience and developed close relationships with many of the finest Orthopedic surgeons in the region.  He has also expanded his circle of valued professional relationships with doctors and medical practices throughout the metro area and surrounding mountain towns.

Derick opened Active Motion Physical Therapy in 2001 and has grown a thriving, well-respected practice through professional and patient referrals.  He is passionate about what he does for a living.

Derick is an avid sport cyclist and has competed in many endurance events, including the renowned Leadville 100 MTB race.  He is currently in serious training and competition with friends and family in multiple Peloton challenges.  He brings the same type of focused dedication and perseverance to his profession.

Not only is Derick dedicated to his profession, but he is also dedicated to his philanthropic endeavors.  He is a Board member and an active participant as a team member of Operation Walk Denver, an organization of professionals who travel together to developing countries, where they provide free hip and knee replacements, along with follow-up care, as well as training for the professionals in those countries.

She has been our men’s and women’s health specialist since 2009. She sees patients of all ages who are experiencing problems that stem from a variety of causes, including pregnancy and childbirth, natural aging, accidental injury, illness, and surgery.  Among the most common issues are pelvic floor weakness and incontinence.  Susan understands on both a professional and personal level how frustrating and annoying some of these problems can be when you’re trying to live an active, healthy life!  She is kind, compassionate, and discreet.

Susan is married to her husband, Matt, and they have 2 wonderful kids, Abbi and Ryder. They adopted their sweet dog, Leo, in 2018. When she is not working, she is busy watching her kids play soccer and hockey.  She also enjoys exercising and keeping fit.

Michelle is a volunteer with Operation Walk Denver, which is a not-for-profit medical service organization that provides free surgical treatment (primarily joint replacements), therapy services, and education for patients and the local medical staff in developing countries.  She recently participated in an Operation Walk trip to Honduras.
